Hi Curly Wurly's,
So I'm going to be doing a little competition next week with a goodie bag to give away as a prize. Try to get some of your friends to pop in by for it too... Make it a little more interesting :)

Mini NYX haul
Hi guys,
I was always curious about NYX cosmetics as everyone always seems to rave above the company, So I started to hunt down the internet to see where I could find some. Luckily enough there is an Irish website that stocks it- Here!
So I went flicking through the collection and picked out a few bits.
I knew I needed a new black liquid liner as my other one ran out so I picked up NYX's Super Skinny Eye Marker in "Carbon Black" €9.00
It's a cute skinny felt tip liner which I personally find much easier to work with that your traditional liquid liner!
I also picked up the High Definition Eyeshadow base. I have other one's but the HD just seemed so appealing! ;) It was €9.70.
You can't just have the Eyeshadow base and not the Primer huh...? Or at least that's what I tell myself! :P So I got the HD Studio Primer too. It was €13.75.
Tee-Hee.... And you certainly can't get those and not the HD Studio Foundation! :) It was €16.00! So I am praying it's worth it!
I figured I needed to get a concealer as well... I didn't!!! (I already have about 6) but when I have my card in my hand I seem to forget! :/ So I got the Concealer In A Jar for €6.00.
I'm going to try out all these guys and I'll let you know how I get on in a later blog. Do you guys have any of these things? Are you like me...? A disaster with your card in your hand? :P
If There is anything you guys think I should buy and try please let me know!
Lots of Love,
Courtenay

Sigma Brush Roll :)
Hi Guys,
So I am super super super excited to say that my Sigma Brushes arrived yesterday :D Even though I have like tonnes of brushes already, I've lost some over the course of owning them. I had a bought a set from Inglot for like nearly 200 euro in the summer and already I'm down to only 5 brushes :/ Where they went to? I'd love to know too! So I decided to invest in one of these bad boys!
I ordered them Here! It's a small but good website. I was just so excited that you could get them in Ireland and for a decent price too! :D
The brush roll came to €130 which I found incredibly reasonable to say that you get a 15 brush set. And the shipping was FREE! You also got to pick from three free samples to be included in your package, but none of them appealed to me so I didn't bother!
I'm going to go through the brushes individually to give you guys an idea. ( Excuse the crummy photography, It's on a towel in my bathroom because it's the only natural light I had, The weather is really bad today!)
2. L05 Lip Brush: Used for application of lip products such as lipstick, lip gloss and lip balms. Synthetic bristles.
3. F25 Tapered Face: Large domed brush with tapered tip. Ideal for application and blending of powdered products, blush and highlighter. Natural bristles.
4. F15 Duo Fibre Powder/ Blush: Medium sized tapered duo fibre brush. Widely disperses highly pigmented or mineralized powders. Generates a natural look during blush and highlighter application. Blend of natural and synthetic bristles.
5. F10 Powder/ Blush: Medium round Brush with soft and natural bristles. Ideal for precise application. Natural Bristles.
6. F35 Tapered Highlighter: Delicately sweeps powder under eyes. The precise tip in this brush enhances cheek highlighting and contouring. Natural bristles.
7. E50 Large Fluff: Ideal for applying and blending powder products on the eyes and face. Can be used to apply single shades all over the lid, Highlighting cheek bones and to contour face. Natural bristles.
8. F65 Large Concealer: Can be used to apply cream-based products to large areas. Also ideal for application of liquid or cream blushes. Synthetic bristles.
9. F75 Concealer: Slightly pointed tip for perfect and precise application of cream products in small and defined areas. Synthetic bristles.
10. E25 Blending: Oval shaped brush with gently chiseled sides. Blends and softens the look of powder or cream shadows. Ideal to apply eye-shadow primer, Base eye shadow colours and blend harsh lines. Natural bristles.
11. E35 Tapered Blending: Fluffy, Long bristled brush with a tapered tip. ideally used to apply and blend colour to the crease area and to soften harsh edges. Natural bristles.
12 E45 Small Tapered Blending: Small domed brush with highly tapered tip. Versatile, This brush can be used to precisely apply and blend colours to the crease area. Natural bristles.
13. E20 Short Shader: Flat, Short, Slightly rounded and dense brush. perfect for precisely applying colours on the lid and smudging along the lash line. Natural bristles.
14. E15 Flat Definer: Small, Firm and flat, This unique brush can be used to line the eyes for instant definition. Can be used with powder or cream products. Synthetic bristles.
15. E10 Small Eyeliner: Delivers a precise fine line along the lash line. The length and density of the bristles are ideal for creating artistic designs. Synthetic Bristles.
Above are all the brushes that I received in this brush roll. I'm totally happy with them. I can't wait to use them with my make-up before I go to work later!
I already have two foundation brushes from previous sets, So it doesn't bother me that there isn't one included but this is the set that I picked for myself. On the website that I gave above they have a good selection of brushes available in sets or to buy separately. So you should chose one by what you need. If you need a foundation brush then pick one with a foundation brush in it Etc.
All in all I think €130 is a very reasonable price for all of these brushes. I have only ever bought M.A.C. brushes separately so I have no idea how much there sets are but I can only imagine how dear they would be!
Anyways I hope you found this helpful :)

O.P.I Nail Polishes (1)
Hi Guys,
So only part of my order arrived yesterday so I decided to do it over two parts. I ordered them from Here. It's a super cute website and it's has some very good deals on it.
I decided that I needed to update my nail polish collection and I am a serious lover of OPI!
I picked up these three:
I popped them each on to a fake nail to try to show you how they look on their own.
Above is "Divine Swine" from "The Muppets" collection. I put two coats on this nail.
Above is "I Lily Love You". It doesn't show up very well in the photo but it's a really a lovely pink sparkly colour!
Above is "Rainbow Connection" from "The Muppets" collection. It's a multicolor sparkly effect.
As I already had pink nails done I decided to just top them up with some of the "Lily I Love You".
And they came out great! I wouldn't really put the colours on just as themselves like others would. I'd pop them on over another colour and that's what I did here! I put two coats on over my original "La Paz-itively hot" by OPI and i'm super happy with the turn out! :)
They come up really well over other nail varnishes and i'm happy to say that I really think they are a good buy!
"Divine Swine" €9.45
"I Lily Love You" €9.45
"Rainbow Connection" €9.45
I have a few more OPI polishes from "The Muppets" collection to review, They just haven't arrived yet. So when they do I'll pop up a post about them :)
Lots of Love,
Courtenay

Nail of the day.
Hi Girly's,
So I am a very impatient person. I will admit, not one of my best qualities but not the worst either! ;) I have been trying Nail Hardener for about a week now and my nails just aren't growing fast enough! So I decided to cheat a little...
For 10€ I thought why not ;)
I sized them up and glued them to my original nails and waited for the glue to dry.
Admittedly, Hardly Natural but I was going to paint them anyways, So who cares!
I decided to use OPI's "La pazitively Hot". It's a super cute hot pink shade with a really nice shine to it.
I painted my nails with this and then followed with:
I left this to dry for about 60 seconds before popping a couple of drops of Rapid-Dri on..( As I said before.. I'm very Impatient!)
I then got my Nail Varnish Remover and poured some of it into the lid. I had picked a little paintbrush up in the Hobby Shack earlier on in the week for like €1.50!
I then went around my nails with the paint brush and the nail varnish remover and fixed up any mistakes that I had made! This is seriously the handiest way to do it. I find if you take a regular cotton bud it's still to big and takes away half of the polish on the side of your nail!
And here is the end result! :P Pretty Pink Nails!
I found that this OPI Polish was much much better than the previous "Houston we have a Purple". It did take two coats and a third on some nails but that is only because the nails were a creamy colour before hand. With the rapid dry the finish was perfect and it was all over and done with in twenty minutes! And on the plus plus side, They'll last me about a week.. Unless I get bored of the colour before then!
Do you guys have any OPI colours you think I should try?
Loads of Love,
Courtenay

A Quick Pop Into M.A.C
Hi Girly's,
As I was Christmas shopping the other day I popped into M.A.C to have a look. There was nothing in particular that caught my eye and I have ordered make-up on the tinternet anyways so I just picked up a couple of things:
To use: Apply to damp brushes and work through. Rinse well. Reshape and lay flat to dry.
I decided I needed to de-gack all of my make-up brushes from all of the make-up build up... And BOY WAS THERE BUILD UP!!!
Pretty nasty actually. I just washed them in the sink and placed a towel on the radiator and placed them on top and left them over night to dry.
But that wasn't enough for me ;)
I dunno if you guys have the same but nearly all of my make-up in my cosmetic purse is coated with a make-up layer! So I wondered would this work on that? So I popped an old sock over my hand and poured some of the solution on to it and went over the products. It came off instantly! It's like I bought a whole new make-up selection! :D
I also Bought:
2. Fix +
To use: Hold bottle 12"away from face and spray evenly. Use before or after make-up.
I tested this out and I really like it. I started off by spraying it on the back of my hand to try it out first. After 3-4 minutes it was totally dry! I then used it before work and lasted the whole day. I sprayed a couple of pumps all over my face and waited for it to dry, went on down to work and didn't have to worry about touching up once! I would defo give it 5 stars! :)
This is how it looks as it goes on to your face. A bit scary to start with I will admit!
After a minute, It started to sink in.
