Gosh Mini Haul and Review

Hi My Beautifuls :)

I have been a fan of Gosh Cosmetics for a long time now, constantly picking up bits as I'm going a long. I was in my local chemist the other day and I noticed that they had like a mini sale on *Insert Drooling* so I had to pick up a few bits..
♥I'm glad I did too♥

♥ Lip Marker- 002 Pink - €9.99
Budge Proof-♥♥♥♥♥
Smudge Proof-♥♥♥♥♥
Colour Payoff-♥♥♥♥♥

Would I Repurchase? Yes.
I love this colour. It's almost like a "Highlighter marker" pink and it really makes your make-up pop! It stays on for a long time even when eating drinking etc.

♥ Lip Marker- 003 Berry- €9.99
Budge Proof-♥♥♥♥♥
Smudge Proof-♥♥♥♥♥
Colour Payoff-♥♥♥♥♥
Value for money-♥♥♥♥♥

This colour is actually much darker than shown in the photo and has a plumy hue off it. I think this is perfect for lighter skin tones, especially in the cold winter we're having.

♥ Black Ink Velvet Touch Eyeliner-€7.99
Budge Proof-♥♥♥♥♥
Smudge Proof-♥♥♥♥♥
Colour Payoff-♥♥♥♥
Value for Money-♥♥♥♥
Would I repurchase?-Yes
It stays put even when you're sobbing along to "The Notebook" as it's Waterproof.. Seriously... I've tried and tested it and it didn't budge or smudge down in under your bottom eyelid!! The colour payoff isn't Jet Black and that's why I gave it only 4 hearts. I love really black eyeliners and this is really more of a dark charcoal grey colour when it's on the eye, However I do still like it as an eyeliner!

♥Mono Eye shades in 01Dark Grey,03Silver Brown,04Light Grey €6.00 each.

04Light Grey.   01 Dark Grey.   03. Silver Brown

These eye shadows are FAN-FIDDLY-TASTIC! The colour payoff is amazing. I used them in conjunction with my NYX HD Eye Shadow Primer and it really makes the colour stand out whilst being subtle if that makes any sense? The colours are super blendable and blend with such ease.

♥Eye Dust 01Clay, 02Soil €8.00 each.

Clay on the Left, Soil on the Right.

I really enjoy using these eye dusts as they're super blendable and when used with Eye Primer the colour payoff is stunning! I like to use these two colours together and they really work! The price tag is also much cheaper than M.A.C. Although the pots are very small and probably colour be bigger you only use the smallest amount and it goes a long way!

Are you guys fans of Gosh Cosmetics?
Hope you guys have a lovely day :)

A Little bit of Love...

Hi guys,

So I was eager to try something different with my nails as I'm (dare I say it...?) Getting bored with my current polish collection! So I figured with it coming up to Valentines and that, I might just try a Love inspired nail :)

I went out and bought a cheap white nail polish because my local OPI stockists didn't have "Alpine Snow". :(

I picked up one from the "Catrice" range and was highly disappointed... It went on streaky and gloopy and icky but as I had already started I had to finish... Some nails came out fine while others... Well you can see for yourself ;)

I got some use out of my new Nail art pens too which was a plus!

I popped about three coats of the white polish all over my nails and then just popped the letters on with a nail art pen. Easy Peasy! Although I will admit that as I am right handed, When working with my left hand the letters weren't quite as neat! :D But who actually looks that closely at your nails right? :P

The Catrice nail polish was only €2.79 so I suppose I can't really complain about the streaky nail polish, but still... They could have made a bit of an effort!

Will I repurchase a Catrice nail polish? No way Hozay!

Enjoy

BOA Bontanics of Australia Review

Hi my Lovlies,

I picked this up the other day as I was in desperate need of a new moisturiser. BOA Face Cream is a protective moisturiser with an SPF 15 (Always a good sign, Especially if you're like me and don't want skin like leather when you're 40!)

This is a lightweight, Non-Greasy face cream with Rosalina Hydrosol in it... What's that you say?
  • Rosalina Hydrosol comes from a native Australian Tree (Melaleuca Ericifolia to be be precise). This extract contains Methyl Hydroxy Proline which apparently helps skin to bind and retain water, Protecting against dehydration and UV stress. Perfect in this kind of weather if you ask me!
It has active ingredients such as:
  • Octyl Methoxycinnamate
  • Octyl Sallcylate
  • Butyl Methoxydlbenzoylmethane
Don't worry... I'm lost too!! But just in case anyone wanted to know. Personally, Long scientific words confuse me! :)

It is made from pure, natural ingredients which is always a plus sign if you have crappy sensitive skin like mine!
The product sinks into your skin nicely and quite fast as well. It's true to it's word that it's non-greasy.
I think this is a very good buy and in my local chemist it was on sale for €10 so it was a bargain as well :)

Would I repurchase? HELLS YEAH!
Have any of you used anything from the BOA range?

Much Love,
Courtenay

What does Courtenay Do when she get's bored?

She plays with glitter... Don't ask me why...! I was bored and thought...Hmmm... Wonder what this would look like!

Well this is just a little post to show you what I did yesterday when no-one was home and I could get away with it! :)

I literally had glitter on my teeth and everywhere else!

I ended up going out with the gold on my eyes and I sort of fell in love with it!

I simply used:

    • A Gold Matte Shadow by Inglot
    • Fix +
    • A Pot of gold Glitter
    • Nyx HD Eyshadow Primer
I popped my eyeshadow base all over my eyelid and I sprayed Fix+ all over my flat shadow brush and packed it full of the gold eyeshadow. This made it a creamy consistency and it came out highly pigmented. I then dampened another flat eyeshadow brush and popped it into the glitter and packed it on. There was A LOT of fall out from the glitter and so I didn't do my foundation until afterwards so that I could clean it up with a baby wipe!

And that's it really..

And here's some posey photo's of how it looked afterwards!

Much Love,
Courtenay

New Camera :)

Hi Guys,

So my beautiful boyfy Wayne came home from Dublin today with a beautiful new camera for me. It's technically my birthday gift but he is as bad as I am for not being able to keep surprises and so he gave it to me a day early!

I know absolutely nothing about camera's and so Wayne had to explain this to the lady in the shop and she picked out this one for me. Apparently it's for technology retarded people like me to get used to before moving on to a super duper camera! :P

All in all I'm delighted with it! He also picked up an SD card for me and a rechargeable battery thingy that you plug into the wall! I dunno... He said it would be helpful! :D Oh and a case for the camera as I am ever so Clumsy :)

Can't wait to start taking photo's now :D

Oh and just to let you know that Ireland is totally freezing at the moment! I'm all tucked up in bed away from it all though...

Much Love,
Courtenay

I'm on a mask roll, But this time it's a face one!

Bonjour ;)

I picked up a white chocolate deep cleansing mask in my local chemist the other day on a whim. I figured my face could do with a treat!
I washed and dried my face and slopped (Yes Slopped) this on my face, It's a very thick consistency.
I lay back and watched some of Eastenders. The smell is GAG-WORTHY not what I expected it to smell like at all. It's actually nasty and my face was getting tighter by the minute! It felt like someone had just given me 50 shots of botox!
It's a white mask and I actually gave Wayne a fright when he came in the door which was really very hilarious as he screamed a little! I think it was one of those "You had to have been there" kinda moments though!
Where was I?... Oh Yes...
The mask.
So after 15 minutes I went in to the bathroom and washed it all off. With some relief I wiggled my face around as I previously wasn't able to!
I can't really say that my face was any different, It was clean but that was about it really!

3 DAYS LATER............................................

Oh dear lord god.... I had about seven new spots.. Not exactly a good look. I am aware that it only did what it was supposed to, cleanse the skin and clean the pores and all that jazz but I really do not recommend one of these if you have something big or fancy coming up soon. Concealer covered up my new found friends on my face and my life wasn't exactly over or anything, But I just thought I should warn you!
It's a good look I know ;)

My eyes look really creepy!!!

Have you guys broken out like this before from a face mask.?
